MISSION: BACKPACK

Please help a child in need start the school year right by providing a backpack filled with school supplies.

The first few days of school can be critical for children. Help them get off to a good start, and success often follows them the rest of the year. On the other hand, kids who get off to a slow start in September often find themselves continuing to struggle in May.

This is YOUR chance to stand up for kids. Please be generous. Many of their families can’t afford the school supplies listed below. But we’re hoping you can. Join with the Union Gospel Mission to provide hundreds of fully loaded backpacks to school kids ages 5-18.

It's easy! Just fill a backpack with the supplies listed below and bring it to one of our convenient drop off sites by Monday, August 16th. Or simply click on the donation link, make a donation, and we will fill a backpack for you.

Drop Off Locations:
The deadline for dropping off School Supplies at your local Kowalski's Market or Frattallone's Ace Hardware is Monday, August 16th. After August 16th, drop off your backpacks at Union Gospel Mission Central Services, UGM Men’s Campus, 435 University Ave. E., St. Paul, MN 55130.
