Founded in 1902, the Union Gospel Mission is dedicated to serving the homeless, poor, and addicted in our community. Providing safe shelter, nutritious food, free dental and medical care, and a broad variety of life-changing programs, the Mission helps people rebuild their lives - physically, emotionally, spiritually and educationally. Matching gifts
Many employers have matching-gift programs through which your generosity to Union Gospel Mission can be multiplied. As a non-profit human services organization, Union Gospel Mission is eligible for many matching-gift programs of corporations, foundations, and other organizations.

Stocks and other property
Gifts of appreciated securities offer tax advantages including forgiveness of the tax on capital gain and an income tax charitable deduction for the fair market value of the securities. You also can make gifts of property such as real estate, life insurance, and retirement accounts. These gifts provide tax advantages and may require independent appraisals to meet Internal Revenue Service (IRS) guidelines.

Electronic delivery of stock shares is the most secure and expedient delivery process available and provides efficient internal control as well as cost savings. Please instruct your broker to deliver stock via DTC to:

Clothing
Clothing that is clean and in good condition can be dropped off at our Central Services building located at 435 University Avenue East, St. Paul.
